We are a self-organised feminist, non-hierarchical and anti-capitalist choir. We sing, re-interpret and re-write songs against sexism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, and any form of domination in society. Within FZP Z'borke, we want to empower each of us and the group as whole, as we recognise the power of singing in bonding communities.
We generally meet twice a week, once on Sundays (18:00-21:00) and once more during the week in the evening hours (exact times and day of the week still to be decided).
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for feminist people who enjoy singing and/or have interest in music. We would like to expand our community with people that are serious about working together as a group and evolving together, not only music-wise.
Although most of us sing, we are always looking for instrumentalists, beat boxers, VJ’s, different kinds of artists and creative people. No music education is needed, just lots of enthusiasm! Even if you aren’t sure about your singing abilities, don’t be shy and try it out. :)
We look forward to meeting you!
